Nathan Sy

Physical Therapist Assistant

Nathan graduated from Concorde with a strong foundation in rehabilitation and patient care, where he developed the clinical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to support individuals through all stages of recovery. Growing up, he was consistently involved in athletics, including basketball, golf, snowboarding, and regular gym training. These experiences played a key role in shaping his understanding of biomechanics, performance optimization, and injury prevention from an early age. Being both active and exposed to the physical demands of sport allowed him to appreciate the importance of proper movement, recovery, and maintaining overall physical health.

In addition to participating in sports, Nathan has always enjoyed following a wide range of athletics, including the NBA, NFL, NHL, golf, soccer, and UFC. Watching athletes perform at a high level and observing how they navigate injuries and rehabilitation further deepened his interest in the human body and its ability to recover, adapt, and return to peak performance. This perspective continues to influence how he approaches patient care, blending performance-based principles with evidence-based rehabilitation.

Nathan’s passion for physical therapy was sparked while working in a clinic at a young age, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of rehabilitation. That experience gave him valuable insight into not only the physical aspects of recovery, but also the importance of building meaningful relationships with patients. He saw how trust, encouragement, and consistency can positively influence outcomes, especially during challenging phases of recovery. Being part of those journeys and helping motivate individuals to continue progressing solidified his commitment to the field.

His goal is to guide patients back to the activities they enjoy with improved confidence, resilience, and a stronger foundation than before. Whether someone is returning to sport, work, or daily function, Nathan strives to create a supportive and motivating environment that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.
