Meet JR Nolasco: Expert Physical Therapist in Your Area

Born and raised in Buena Park, California, JR Nolasco is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from American Career College in 2024. He works primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting, where he’s dedicated to helping patients recover from injury, build strength, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

JR’s path into physical therapy was shaped by a serious back injury he experienced six years ago. Being a part of the rehabilitation process gave him a firsthand appreciation for the recovery journey and sparked a deeper interest in kinesiology and human performance. That experience, combined with his lifelong passion for sports and fitness, ultimately led him to pursue a career as a PTA.

A former athlete, JR played basketball, badminton, and ran track, and he continues to live an active lifestyle. JR believes in blending clinical knowledge with real-world fitness experience to help others move better and feel stronger.
