Dr. Costa holds several advanced degrees including his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Master’s in Education. His emphasis in school was orthopedics, lymphedema, and manipulation. His undergrad degree is in Biology, and he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Western Oregon University. While at WOU he ran track and cross country, achieving academic and athletic all-conference status. Dr. Costa has taught biology, and coached track and cross-country at Capo Valley High School, Dana Hills High School, and with Mission Viejo High School’s running program. He was added in 2012 as an adjunct professor at Concordia University in their athletic training department. Dr. Costa is also a clinical instructor for Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant students.</p><p>Dr. Costa uses many manual therapy techniques and modalities, to make sure your therapy session is one that achieves the highest potential. He integrates state of the art modalities into his treatments, including the Deep Muscle Stimulation (percussion adhesion release), myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, TMJ intra-oral pterygoid treatment, therapeutic cold LASER, electrical stimulation TENS/EMS, ART, custom orthotics, lymphatic compression pump therapy, athlete recovery system, video feedback gait analysis, and a FULL RETURN Sports program, integrating a full weight and gym transition back to sport ready.</p><p>Dr. Costa has multiple publications and presentations, including at the national college of phlebologists. For his cutting-edge research on lymphedema therapy and new treatment protocols, with Mission Hospital Cardiac and Vein Group. He was also recognized for his outstanding treatment of TMJ patients, and he is currently working on publishing new protocols to help patients with plantar fasciitis and neuropathy.</p><p>Dr. Costa is the founder of the RUN MECHANICS program, where he educates other professionals and athletes on video feedback analysis with runners, and how to limit their injury and improve performance.</p> <img src="https://rstheme.com/products/wordpress/bcom/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/rect-shape-large.png" alt="image"/>

She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021.</p> <p dir="auto">Maranda’s passion for physical therapy began in high school after taking a sports medicine elective—at the same time she was receiving physical therapy for a soccer injury. That experience sparked her fascination with the human body and the power of movement as medicine. She knew then that she had found her calling. Today, Maranda is committed to helping her patients recover, move with confidence, and get back to doing what they love most.</p> She takes a patient-centered approach to care, blending a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Myofascial Release (MFR), Active Release Technique (ART), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), joint mobilization, myofascial decompression, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), and Kinesio (KT) taping. Beyond hands-on treatment, Maranda focuses on education, empathy, and empowerment—ensuring her patients understand their recovery process and feel supported every step of the way. <p dir="auto">Outside the clinic, Maranda enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their German Shepherd. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Penn State and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Gannon University.</p> <p data-start="380" data-end="654">A dancer since the age of five, Angelina developed an early appreciation for movement and injury prevention. He attended undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine with a major in biology. There is where Dennis found his passion for physical therapy after watching a clip about a college football player recovering from a severe neck injury. Following his undergraduate education, he attended Chapman University to obtain his Doctorate in Physical therapy.</p><p>Dennis incorporates a variety of manual therapy techniques in order to obtain the best results for his patients. These skill include joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, use of deep muscle stimulators, PNF patterns with manual resistance, active release therapy, taping, and high-velocity low amplitude thrust. However Dennis is continuously learning new techniques in order to broaden his treatment and get the best results for his patients. He has even attended courses such as a spinal manipulation course taught by the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
